EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms. Ongoing research supports positive clinical outcomes, showing EMDR therapy as a helpful treatment for disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other distressing life experiences (Maxfield, 2019).
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a non-drug, non-hypnosis psychotherapy procedure. The therapist guides the client in concentrating on a troubling memory or emotion while moving the eyes rapidly back and forth. This rapid eye movement, which occurs naturally during dreaming, seems to speed the client's movement through the healing process
**Please note that only Allison Masse is accepting new clients for EMDR at this time as Lauren's client list is at capacity.

Walk and talk therapy
Walk and Talk Therapy combines the benefits of traditional counselling with the restorative effects of movement and nature. Instead of meeting in an office or online, sessions take place outdoors—walking side by side in a calm, natural setting. This approach can help ease conversation, reduce anxiety, and encourage a sense of flow and grounding.
Many clients find that being in nature supports emotional regulation, creativity, and a fresh perspective on life’s challenges. Whether you’re processing stress, navigating transitions, or seeking new ways to connect with yourself, Walk and Talk Therapy offers a gentle and mindful way to move forward—literally and emotionally.
